Polarized Lens


 

The history of the polarized lens by high index resin is same as our history.


 

Until 1990's, there were only low index polarized lenses in the market.

Low index resin ( like a CR-39 ) was good resin for lens, however it had some weakness.
Especially less impact resistance is not suit for outdoor use.
And also low index resin restrict users optical frame.

Early 2000's, we HOPNIC Laboratory have launched high index polarized lens. It was not so easy to do.
We have improved some production process and materials. It becomes standards now.
You can buy them through some famous brands.

 

 


 

The feature is below:


High durability:
        we use polarized film which suits to the process of high index resin.
        It makes high durability, and not easy to lose the color than usual.

High optical performance:
        Some polarized lenses made by others do not meet the optical characteristics ISO stipulated.
        Then, as the result, the lab cannot makes correct power lens, and the consumer cannot purchase the         polarized glasses suitable.
        We do control optical characteristics by original production process.

Good film location:
        Almost all polarized lenses are designed as good film location. So the lab can grind as thin center thickness         and makes the lenses thin, and good looking glasses.
